Step out of the Noise. Return to Yourself.
When your mind feels busy and life feels full, it can be difficult to slow down or feel settled in yourself.
The Gentle Wild offers small, guided experiences in nature and creative awareness that help you slow a busy mind, soften into the present moment, and reconnect with a quieter, more grounded way of being.
No pressure to share. No performance.
Just arrive as you are.
A space for experiences that don’t always have a place to be spoken.

What Happens at The Gentle Wild
You might find yourself walking quietly through the trees, noticing small shifts in light, sound, and atmosphere.
You might sit with a canvas, watching colour take shape without needing to rush toward an outcome.
You might find yourself listening, or speaking, in a circle, where stories are offered and received with care.
There is no pressure to perform or explain.
You are welcome to participate, observe, or step back as needed.
Over time, something begins to shift, not through instruction, but through attention.
Moments settle.
Patterns become visible.
And what once felt unclear may begin to take on new meaning.
Each experience unfolds a little differently.
If this feels right, the Listening Circle is the best place to begin.
What People Experience
Participants often describe a shift in how they see, feel, and relate—to themselves, to nature, and to the experience as a whole.

- Sandy D., Sound Coach, Calgary, AB
You are welcome to come as you are, and participate in whatever way feels right for you.
A Gentle Note
At The Gentle Wild, we begin with the understanding that human perception is vast. Beyond the familiar five senses, science recognizes dozens of subtle sensory pathways through which we experience the world, through atmosphere, intuition, embodied awareness, relational attunement, and environmental connection.
🌿
Grounded in eco-psychology, expressive arts and nature-based practices, these gatherings are spaces for reflection, creativity, and meaningful conversation.
🌿
The Gentle Wild is a facilitated creative space, not a therapeutic service. Each experience is gently guided and free-flowing by design. You are welcome to participate, observe, or step back as needed.
This space is designed for gentleness, autonomy, and respect.
The Gentle Wild is guided by Sherri...
An experiential learning facilitator, artist, and founder of The Gentle Wild,
Her work brings together nature-based experiential learning, creative practice, and thoughtful conversation, shaped by a lifelong connection to the natural world and years of working with people in both structured and meaningful real-life settings.
She approaches each gathering with a quiet attentiveness to group dynamics, creating spaces that are grounded, respectful, and unhurried.
The Gentle Wild is guided with care, where experiences are thoughtfully held and participants are invited to engage in their own way, at their own pace.
Each experience is intentionally designed and guided to support a sense of presence, personal agency, and respectful participation.
